Latest addition: Monday 12 February 2007Web link: we can alo discuss in the forum
Now every thursday at 6p.m. in Av/ Del Cid 154 (CGT, Metro 9 de octubre):
It has been a long time since we last used our "youth´s bar". We want to get back to action, our heads are full of ideas and we are looking forward to yours. Some activities we are planning:
cinema. some films we´re gonna watch and discuss: themroc - los educadores
but we are open for every proposal, also if it´s in english. see this page for the dates....or even better come on thursday and get surprised ;)
access to a lodging. as you know this is a huge problem (not only) in Spain and theres much discussion about the "vivienda digna". And then how can we resist the "cleaning with the Kärcher" (Sarkozy in France 2005, this statement led to the wellknown riots) that the police is doing against squatters and all of us who choose to live different?
America´s Cup with its many negative implications. What do you think about a campaign against the precarity of labour existing there? Have you heard abaout the so-called volunteers who are nothing else than people working for a commercial enterprise without any pay.
We always are looking forward to receiving articles, fotos, videos or any other material for this web as for the different printed publications of the CGT.
So you´re a photographer? Writer? Doing graphic design? We´re looking forward to meet you next thursday or write an email to jove@cgtpv.org
Ah, and if you have just learned some spanish and are wondering about words like "jove" or others in this web....that´s catalan or valencian or however you wanna call it...but no worry, not all of us do know that; me who writes this translation am actually german and do not speak any word of it. We don´t want to exclude anyone for not knowing spanish or catalan, like some other groups in Valencia do. Languages are a means to understand each other, and as such we want to use them. For this reason I have translated this article to English.
